For the Children in Need 24hr Marathon in November, The BBC want to put a presenter on the track for a live broadcast. He has not ridden on the track before so i thought a tandem would be the best and safest option. Does anybody know if it is possible to ride one of these at Calshot?

Great idea but have two words...... good luck!  bad enough round those bends on a solo!

Try talking to Andy Storey at Prendas Cyclismo. He's brother of the reigning tandem sprint champion, so should be able to pass on a few helpful hints!

Hi Craig

it would be better to put him on a solo provided he can ride a bike. Riding Calshot isn't that difficult whereas riding a tandem at Calshot is going to be diffcult anyway without having to deal with someone who has never ridden on a tandem before as well as never riding Calshot.
