Reply with quote | #1 | Well done to Lou and Cath.
Results on the CTT web site: Lou 32:18 was 4th woman (39 th overall) Cath 40:08 199 out of 274 (CTT doesnt list women separately)
Cycling Weekly report missed Lou out so Ive commented to get it put right. |

Reply with quote | #2 | Yes I second that - great rides, especially as Lou only lost out to third with a couple of seconds, having shifted a chain off. Also congratulations to Darren Lewis who made it around the 103 miles sportive off just time trial training, and to my daughter Sonya, 4, who learn to ride her bike (withOUT her stabilisers) by the Palace. Within an hour she was on the 'Go Ride' Obstacle race.

Sounds like you all had a great day out. We were there looking for the wheelers but apart from seeing a club top flying down the road in the Sportive we did not bump into any of you. We did the 60 mile Sportive on the tandem but given that we are so flipping unfit it was a challenge to say the least!! We only just got round a pretty tough course but it was a brilliant day out. Hopefully more riders from our clubs will support such a brilliant day out again next year. |
